VLE01 Albion Commissariat
Soldiers do not feed themselves (well they don’t pay for the food if given the choice!) when going to war and for the troops of Great Britorcn this task falls to the Albion Commissariat service. Marching with the army these brave Orcs lead teams of horses, mules, carts and even carriages laden with all kinds of supplies that are needed every day. From food to black powder and clothing, not forgetting of course the pay chests, all needed supplies must be hauled in the marching battalions trails. Possession of all this loot often makes a lone commissariat officer leading his pack horse a prime target not only for Ferach patrols but also hungry Orcs who ‘just want a nibble’ and of course any bandits or deserters lurking about.
This highly collectable pack is a super addition to your Flintloque collection, a character piece that can provide the centre piece of some highly entertaining scenarios.
Flintloque Stats
In Flintloque the Albion Commissariat is treated as follows;
An Albion Orc of Average / Regular status armed with a knife. Points Cost 21 Points. The pack horse is treated as a Heavy Horse, its load should be worked out by the player. Points cost without load 14 Points.
In play the pack horse moves at 50% of its normal movement rates due to the weight of its load. It takes one character three turns to unload the horse. The Orc will attempt to stay in base to base contact with his horse if possible. Due to iron nerves (he is used to danger) the Commissariat Orc in play gains an addition +1 to all Morale rolls. Unless prevented the pack horse will follow the Orc at its walk rate, or stay within 5cm of his corpse if killed.
Uniform Details
The Uniform of the Albion Commissariat consists of a red tunic and grey or white trousers, a black shako, boots and white cordage. Turnbacks, collar and cuffs vary but yellow, blue and green are common. The pack horse can be any colour and its load is brown for wooden kegs, light brown for bags and silver for metal tools and buckles.
