THE HOB GOBLINS OF TAFFSEA

Like the Bog Orcs of Guinalea the Taffseaers are cousins of the Orcs of Albion, the Hob Goblins are wily and quick tempered folk with a taste for song and dance. Also they are drafted into the regiments of the Army of Albion but have some six regiments composed entirely of the orange skinned Taffs who in former lives were shepherds and fishers.

The Army of Albion has some fine regiments of Hob Goblins who in many cases are reformed characters who used to be members of the dreaded Boyos from Taffsea. Most of these battalions serve in Catalucia though a few are found elsewhere.

A Hob Goblin of Average / Regular Status armed with a standard musket and bayonet. Points Cost is 21 Points.

Officers typically carry a hatchet instead of a sword and are often of Experienced / Regular status. Adjust point accordingly.
Standard Bearers carry a pole which counts as a large improvised weapon in combat, musicians carry a drum which counts as a small improvised weapon and a knife.

24TH HOBBERS GREENIES

Taking their name from their disgusting habit of using their own nasal excretions as facial camouflage and the nickname of their aristocratic leader the venerable and ancient Lord Hobber this regiment is composed of some five battalions all of whom are spread all over Valon. Competent but noisy these soldiers make their Gobish mothers proud.
STATUS & ARMAMENT: The 24th are classed as Regular Infantry armed with Taffie Muskets.
UNIFORM: The Infantry uniform consists of a brick red tunic, grey breeches, a black shako with a red and green plume, and black shoes. Facing colours are grass green. Equipment is black, equipment straps are white leather.
