56530-U Saxhunde Voltiguers
Since before the Ferach Revolution the Dog Kingdom of Saxehunde had an uneasy alliance with the Dwarves of Krautia. The Kingdom was small but had a reputation for producing fierce soldiers. They kept many potential enemies at bay, with their paws raised begging for mercy. When Mordred's Armies destroyed the Krautians at the first Battle of Yenna the King of Saxhunde, Fido Augustus, sued for peace with the Ferach Elves. An uneasy peace was agreed, the Tyrant knew the value of such fearsome warriors.
While the most famous formations of the Saxhunde Armee are the Line and Grenadiers the light companies of the Dutchie are also good troops and perform well guarding and skirmishing both for their own Dog fellows and for their Elven masters.
While only being a few regiments in size and often parcelled out by companies the Light Infantry of Saxhunde is very effective. Bitter enemies of both the Werewolf Jagers of the Witchlands and also the Frei Corp of Ostaria these Dogs make excellent use of their rifled muskets a most unusual weapon in the arsenal of the Ferach Armees.
The Light Company of the 3rd Saxhunde Line Regiment is renowned in the Witchlands campaign for its hunting of Werewolves. Led by Captain Von Wursthund and his trusted right hand Dog Sergeant Spiech this company survived the disaster at Lynchagrave and the retreat from Moskova. These two Dog soldiers are lethal fighters with the height and brains of Von Wursthund and the tusks and power of Spiech they have got themselves out of some really tight spots.

CAPTAIN VON WURSTHUND (SPECIAL UNIT OFFICER) (50 POINTS)
The Voltiguers of the Saxhundes have a very good reputation as skirmishers and have performed very well indeed in the disastrous Witchlands campaign with the Elves. Famous among his own kind is Von Wursthund who as a 'sausage dog' is a rare breed, a bit taller but with notorious uniform problems the Captain leads his company with skill.
BAGGY TROUSERS, BAGGY TROUSERS!: With an elongated torso that the army cannot seem to cover with cloth, Von Wursthund uses tall boots and a thick belt to secure his modesty, it does not always work however. His Unit must deduct 5cm from its movement Value each Turn but may add +1 to its Form Value as the men crowd round their Officer's baggy trousers to assist their hoisting.
