The Mad Queen, as she is known to her allies and her enemies alike, is perhaps one of the most unstable Monarchs to ever rule any Land of Valon. While Maria is Queen of Al-Garvey, no one would dispute this, she leaves all the duties of state to her son the Prince Regent Don Jon who rules in all but name while she continues her vendetta against the Ferach Elves. Travelling with her personal guard the Grenadier da Junta Corta she moves from battle to battle leading her Goblin soldiers where and whenever she gets the chance. Her entourage includes not only the three battalions of the Grenadiers but also a multitude of hangers on and fawning admirers, a veritable regiment in all of dandies, advisors, priests and fashion experts who prepare her many dresses. This travelling band is often cursed by the general staff of Albion as well as Joccia and the other divisions in Catalucia fighting for the Grand Alliance, causing a scene offensive to the refined nature of the Orcs.
This being said the 'Festival Maria' as its know has proved its value, at the battle of Jivaria in Southern Catalucia the Queen inspired her own battalions and those of five other Al-Garvey line regiments into a stunning victory which saw one of the few times Goblins thrashed the Ferach without any Orcish assistance. Little matter many of the enemy were raw troops and several Nepolise regiments broke and ran with little prompting, it was a victory led by Queen Maria.
Riding into the fray on her extremely aged Dodo 'Crispin', one of the few remaining mounts of the infamous Iron Guard of the Darke Age, she is an awe inspiring sight. Crispin has a furious temper and had been the death of many Goblin stable hands, he wears thick glasses as his eyesight is nearly gone, raging at all of the bows and sequins he must don to please the Queen. Maria bedecked in silken gowns, jewels and other finery of many colours, though mainly pink and white sits atop Crispin and is adored by all her subjects. Loved by all her people the Queen, to give her full title; The Most Splendid and Renowned Majesty, Empress of all Al-Garvey and her dominions in Afri, Inji and the vaster world, preserver of the perfect visage Queen Maria the first.

Adoration of the Queen: All Goblin Units under her command may automatically ignore the first combat result that requires the Unit to become disorganised, upon the second prompt to become disorganised the unit reacts as normal.
You all must bow!: If acting as a General then Maria commands such respect that all of her Goblin units in her division add a +1 to their Morale and Form for the entire battle. However she is so unpredictable that when playing any General's Card the player must roll a D6 and on a score of 6 the card is played but automatically discarded with no effect, wasted. This is the result of listening to an old sock for military advice!
