LE038 General Ferro Rospo

Rospo is bad tempered and a notorious womaniser, but at the same time one of the finest graduates of the atrocious Provavincereguerra Academy in Nepolise. This academy has produced a few excellent officers but on the whole it has produced one of the most corrupt and lazy general staffs on Valon.

In fact Ferro Rospo was one of the first Todoroni to learn that to pass all the academy exams he needed only an impressive salute, a dazzling uniform and the nerve to seduce the commandant's wife. This he duly did and as a result was given a number of commissions to very dangerous campaigns and Ferach expeditionary forces. It never occurred to Rospo that the reason for his popularity was that he had seduced the women of his superiors, he assumed himself the best Toad for the job. Despite all the actions he has been in and a number of Maffia sponsored assassination attempts the General lives on and learns ever more tricks both on and off the battlefield.

Having been at the Battle of Maulandgo and at Moskova he is a very effective commander driving his soldiers hopping mad with drill and marching to keep them alive and slimy. His battalions are sometimes given line of battle orders, not even just on days when the Elves are suffering from heat stroke, he has drilled them to a good standard of performance.

The General does not travel alone, he is a family man despite his best efforts, his lovely wife (the Large Todoroni damsel) Lucrecia Froggia is always at his side to make sure he does not 'stray' from his vows. The vows were administered at pistol point with Lucrecia fingering the trigger, Rospo was not going to hop out on his duty with her! Now Lucrecia with little leaper 'Ginio' in her arms and the couples forty new born spawn in a cast iron bucket at her feet, offers screamed advice and threats during the flash and smoke of battle.

Uniform Details:

The General has a blue tunic, white breeches, yellow turnbacks and cuffs with black boots and bicorne. His uniform is emblazoned with golden thread and medals and a green sash about his waist. His Hippo 'Gelato' is a light grey colour with a brown saddle and red strapping. Lucrecia is dressed in a powder blue dress with white bonnet and pink ribbons and seams, the tadpole is a lovely shade of bright green. Todoroni flesh varies in colour from icky greens, yellows and browns to a pale almost white skin dependant on their toad lineage. The bucket of frog spawn is silver metal with a yellow ooze and purple spawn eggs.

Flintloque Rules:

Ferro Rospo is a Little Todoroni and is Veteran armed with a Sword (+2) costing 21 Points. His mount is a Baby Hippo (18 Points).

Lucrecia Froggia is a big Todoroni and is Average armed with a Standard Pistol costing 15 Points.

Optional Rules: Bucket of Spawn

The bucket of Spawn is alive with tiny Todoroni and when in danger can emit a terrifying noise like a whale chocking on row boat full of opera singers. Any enemy coming within 10cm of the Bucket must pass a 'Fired at for First Time' morale test or flee! The bucket may be moved like any other small object.

"IF'A YOU RUNA, I WILL A SHOOT YOU MYA SELF!": All friendly Todoroni Units within 45cm may add +1 to their Form Value each Turn.

"NOW REMEMBA POINT DA MUSKETTE AT DE BAD GUYZ": Once per game the General may select a single friendly Todoroni Unit within 60cm and add +2 to its Fire Mod. Value for one Turn of ranged firing.

"HEY YOUZ ALL KWIT LOOKINGZ AT MA GIRL!": Having a good looking girlfriend by your side in battle can be a distraction. When the General receives his first hand of Cards in any battle then he must roll a D6 on a roll of 5 or 6 he must discard one card chosen randomly (face down) by his opponent. That will teach him!
