Description
One 28mm Scale metal miniature supplied in two parts (separate arms with gun). Muscular woman with armour pads and a heavy drum shotgun. She is 28mm to eyeline.
In the vast aged orbital of Gaspull 7, high above the storms of Jupiter, Miriam was once a quiet sister tending to the lost children of the orphanage deck. While most of the people had left once the star drive had made Jovian fuel obsolete no one had thought to re-home the offspring of cloud divers and tank haulers who had perished in their work. It was left to the sole remaining Sisters of Stellar Mercy to tend to them and for a while in the near empty orbital all was well. Until the ‘Blades’ arrived bent on slaving anyone they could.
After hard docking to the outer hull and burning into the orbital the gang stormed level after level taking anyone they found and killing those who resisted them. Sister Miriam fought with an intensity like breaking solar storm after after she was beaten to the deck repeatedly. The Blades wanted the children but they were denied. Ushering the kids away and crawling while the gang argued Mirium managed to close a major pressure wall down between the two groups. Bleeding and staggering they escaped and hid. The Blades left vowing to return.
That brutal day something awakened in the sister. She began to train without mercy. She pushed her body harder lifting, training, running the skeletal gantries until her once slender frame transformed into corded muscle and raw strength. She kept her nun’s habit, now worn over reinforced armour as a symbol of the gentle protector she refused to abandon. The orphans named her Sister Calibre. Now, when danger threatens the sister stands at the front. Powerful, and fearless, she is their living shield in a galaxy that devours the weak. The orphans of Gaspull 7 sleep safer now despite the threat of the Blades.
This miniature is not supplied with base and is supplied unpainted. Painted images shown on a 30mm round base (code 59525). Shown with other miniatures for scale purposes only.
